Yes. Genshin Impact on PC officially supports Xbox controllers via XInput. When Gamepad connects your phone as a virtual Xbox 360 controller, Genshin Impact detects it automatically and switches to controller button prompts in the UI.
All Genshin controls map correctly: left stick (movement), right stick (camera), A (jump/confirm), B (dash/cancel), X (interact/skill), Y (switch character), LB/RB (previous/next character), LT/RT (aim/normal attack), D-pad (skills 3 and 4), Start (pause menu).
Combat
Elemental skills, bursts, and character swapping all work with the phone controller.
Exploration
Walk, sprint, climb, glide, and swim — full movement with analog stick precision.
Aiming
Bow aim mode with right stick aiming and gyro assist for Fischl, Amber, and archers.
PC vs Mobile Genshin with a Controller
Playing Genshin Impact on PC rather than mobile gives you better graphics settings (up to 60fps or higher with the right hardware, higher resolution textures, and wider field of view). With a phone controller via Gamepad, you get the best of both worlds: PC graphics with controller comfort.
