Gyroscope Steering for Racing Games
Enable gyroscope mode in the Gamepad app and map it to the left analog stick. Hold your phone horizontally like a steering wheel and tilt left/right to steer. The gyroscope's precision makes this more natural than thumbstick steering for many players.
This works in Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport, Need for Speed series, WRC series, DiRT Rally, Assetto Corsa, and any other PC racing game that supports XInput controllers.

Analog Triggers for Throttle and Brake
The Gamepad app's LT/RT zones support analog pressure sensing — the deeper you press the zone, the more throttle or brake you apply. This is implemented via the standard XInput trigger axis which racing games use directly for progressive throttle and brake control.
Unlike digital on/off keyboard controls, analog triggers allow you to trail-brake, modulate power out of corners, and prevent wheel spin — techniques that meaningfully improve lap times in simulation-style racing games.
